Hyde Park Historical Society is supporting the 2008 Hike for History 5K Walk-a-Thon in historic Hyde Park benefiting the
Chicago Metro History Education Center.

Tour Includes _ Selected historic sites and buildings in our community, including rest stops at HPHS Headquarters, University of Chicago Lab School, Hyde Park Union Church, and Hyde Park Neighborhood Club. _ HPHS Annual Exhibit of the best student projects from the 2008 Chicago Metro History Fair focusing on subjects related to Hyde Park Township. How HPHS Members Can Participate: _ Join walkers - kids & adults from across Chicagoland _ Be a volunteer at rest stops _ Be a tour guide for groups of 10-15 walkers _ Sponsor a walker or a team _ Make individual donations
